Dear Self,

By definition, a hippie dress--which term will henceforth be said to include any dress that ceases to touch the wearer's body when the wearer twirls around--even if it is rayon, should not have a washing instruction label that includes the phrase "dry clean only."

While you are the sort of person who, in fact, frequents a Fabricare (tm) institution, it would be wrong to take a hippie dress there, no matter how much it says it wants to go.
