In the mean time, consider that in 1974, a band calling itself Blue Swede covered the fairly terrible B.J. Thomas tune "Hooked on a Feeling" and had a number one hit with it. And I heard it on the local oldies station tonight. What a nightmare of a song. It made me wistful for the B.J. Thomas version, and that's a scary thing.
